We built Zaprio because getting around shouldn't be complicated.
A ride you can trust, a price you can see, and a driver who shows up when they say they will. That's the whole idea — we've just spent years trying to get every detail of it right.
From a frustrating commute to a company
Zaprio started with a pretty ordinary problem: our founders were tired of watching fares jump around every time it rained, and tired of waiting fifteen minutes for a ride that was supposedly "two minutes away." It wasn't one bad night that did it — it was the accumulation of a hundred small ones.
So a small team of engineers and drivers sat down and asked what a ride-hailing app would look like if it were built around the driver and the rider equally, instead of squeezing value out of one to please the other. That question stuck with them longer than expected.
That question turned into Zaprio — a platform built on fixed, upfront pricing, faster driver matching, and fair earnings for the people actually behind the wheel. We launched quietly in one city with just bike rides, and grew only as fast as we could keep our promises.
We're still asking that same founding question today, just at a bigger scale — city by city, feature by feature, one ride at a time.
The things we don't compromise on
Honest pricing
If the fare can't be shown upfront and honored, it doesn't belong in the app. Simple as that.
Safety by default
Live trip sharing, an SOS button, and driver verification aren't premium add-ons — they come standard.
Fair to drivers
A driver-partner's earnings shouldn't be a mystery. We show the breakdown, every single trip.
Respect for your time
Faster matching, shorter pickups, and an app that doesn't make you fight it to book a ride.
Built for real cities
We tune the app city by city — traffic patterns, local languages, and payment habits included.
A quick look at how we got here
Zaprio launches in Jaipur
Started with bike rides in a single city, testing whether upfront pricing could actually work.
Auto and Cab join the fleet
Expanded to 10 cities and added categories based on what riders kept asking for.
Safety toolkit rolled out
Introduced live trip sharing, in-app SOS, and mandatory driver verification checks.
Crossed 100 cities and 2M riders
Grew steadily while keeping pickup times and driver earnings as our two north-star metrics.
40+ active cities and counting
Zaprio now moves millions of people a month — and we're still shipping weekly, based on feedback.
